jean HATES john Bio:
Long Island, once known for its hard-rock original music scene, has been labeled of late as an emo breeding ground. A longing for the days of when music didn't whine and musicians acted like rock stars prompted five friends and diverse musicians to put out some truly rocking music.
Enter jean HATES john.
JHJ transcends the generation gap that marks today's music by infusing the genius of rock fundamentalists like Led Zeppelin and the Rolling Stones with today's hipster influences such as Jet and Guns and Roses; all layered over shocking male/female vocals and harmonies.
JHJ's originals are driven by Eric Diaz's eclectic and funky backbeat drums and the pounding yet melodic bass riffs of Francois.
The bands undeniable rhythm is provided by Jenn Garay and soloist extraordinaire and resident stud Nero; all set to the pleasantly
piercing vocals of April Jimenez.
Crowds won't be able to control the urge to tap their foot, dance atop tables or just get buck wild once they get an earful of this fun, no nonsense rock band. To experience the full spectrum of JHJ's untamed antics be sure to catch a live show.
