jb and the gangs pop sensation Bio:

JB & The Gang! are a four piece punk/ska band from the land of Hoddesdon. They have been a band since around December 2005 when non-band members decided to join forces with Squeeze Lever musicians Jake Bradbury (JB) & Jinj. Since then they have got themselves a great group of loyal followers.
It all started in December when Drummer Jamie & Bassist Neb were practicing with a Guitarist called Luke. Jake & Jinj had been discussing starting a band with Jamie & Neb for a while, & then they finally had a band practice. The first practice was with Luke, however there was an arguement because of musical differences. Luke threatened to leave & so no-one stopped him. He left.

After that day, the four band members carried on jamming & playing together. They first of all started doing covers until thier first song "Beer Beer!" was created when Neb one night after a party was bored round Jamie's house & when into a poem about beer. Originally the song was supposed to just be an instrumental.

After quite a few band practices, we had a good 9 or 10 songs & they played thier first gig together down at the V & E Club in Chesunt. It was for Neb's birthday. They got a good crowd response so decided to go & record their demo down in the studio. The demo consisted of 3 songs. "Beer Beer!", "Whip It Out!" & "F.R.E.D". The three songs that are on their myspace.

Since then the bands fan base has just kept growing & JB & The Gang hope for it to keep growing & growing. They plan in the near future to record an album at the studio becuase they are bored with just hearing the same 3 songs.

They now have found the brass section they have been looking for in the form of Micky Dodd!! He starting learning not to long ago because he wanted to! They hope to have some recordings with him very soon indded.

Thats JB & The Gang!!!

They hope to cement their place in musical history ................ or at least try!!!

This was a good time for JB And The Gang to record their EP !! After their first 3 song demo was a complete success and they had a load of gigs and got their support up more and more, they decided that they would like to start making money.

It obviously seems like JB And The Gang are definately starting to move forward on their way to stardom and they have decided to make this 7 track EP. It already has their "Anthems" such as "Beer Beer" and "Whip It Out", however it brings in a few new songs such as "Joe The Hoe", a song about the bands good friend, and "Party", which is a great tune that gets anyone moving and skanking with its great Jazz Chords by Jinj and Nebs Walking Bass Lines.

This could only be another step in the right direction for JB And The Gangs road to stardom!!!
