Crisis Degree Bio:
Hailing from Lahti, Crisis Degree tries to create something smooth but still aggressive. Strongly influenced by American metalcore acts the band is up for a challenge in the Finnish music scene.

The band was formed in 2004 by three mates who had known each other for years; Lasse, Niko and Jesse. For a while the form kept on changing but eventually Jesse was chosen as the vocalist. In the fall of 2005 Niko betrayed the band and switched to Ordeal of Soul but soon enough he decided to return.
In January 2006 Niko and Lasse began to write songs on their own. The band was still three-pieced and eager to move on. A couple of months and two songs later, the band started looking for new members. In the summer of 2006 Katri was added to the group as a drummer. Soon Niko decided that bass would be the instrument for him and after filling the open position of the second guitarist, the group was ready to go.
Just before recording the first demo, Resigned No More, the band had to let go of Joonas and fill the open position of the second guitarist with Jesse K. Straight after the recordings there was a certain unhappiness among the members of the band and the situation was solved by releasing Katri from her duties and going without a drummer for a while. But just in time Jaakko (CHAOSPHERE) came in rescue and filled in the remaining spot. |
