the name Bio:
Put in place after the untimely demise of Long Addiction in 2003, .the name: originally consisted of Paul Curtis-Harper and fellow former Long Addiction member Adam Yates to write, record and hopefully tour the material around Yorkshire and hopefully the UK. This partnership didn't last too long as each members other personal commitments meant they could not spend the time needed in order to make this plan become a reality.
Nothing happened with .the name: until the summer of 2005 when Paul found himself back in the musical groove writing the whole of the "Losing The Faith" album in the space of 2 weeks and .the name: was reborn. So much new material was being written at this point that 7 songs which spilled over from "Losing The Faith" formed the backbone of .the names: 2nd album "Chronicles Of A Suicide Blonde". Paul recorded the first 2 albums by May of 2006 and has put together 2 EP's from each album. While some new material was still being written Paul decided to back to the Long Addiction roots and record the 3rd album "A New Era". The title comes from what Long Addiction were going to call their first album before their split. So, as of this moment Paul is planning on taking .the name: on a mini acoustic tour around local venues, supporting other bands and making people aware of the music of .the name: once more. |
