Exile Arise Bio:
Exile Arise are a 5 piece metal band from the south of England. The band was founded by Guitarists Jamie Prior and Calum Newbiggin when they started jamming together and started to get songs together. The guitarists then hooked up with drummer Liam Scott who Calum was in a band with previously. They started then rehearsing as a three piece and started to get more songs together. Jamie and another band he was in was involved in a charity concert. The bassist was Tom Ashford who was brought in at the last minute as the bands old bassist had quit. After the band had played their set Calum joined Tom and Jamie onstage to play Metallica's "For Whom The Bell Tolls" as an encore. There was an instant onstage chemistry between the three guitarists and shortly after Tom joined Liam, Jamie and Calum's band. The four rehearsed for a couple of months as an instrumental band but were always on the look out for a vocalist. Jamie then met Singer/Guitarist Karl Harrigan at college. Shortly after Karl joined the band and the lineup was complete!! The band then decided on the name Exile Arise! |
