Beast of Damnation Bio:
Beast of Damnation is a death metal band from the Netherlands, which was formed in August of 2005 from the ashes of extreme death metal band Damnations Way.
In the summer of 2005 Damnations Way had fallen apart and vocalist Jos Lemmen and guitar player Michel Lemmen decided to give life to a new band: Beast of Damnation. Both former Damnations Way members wanted to take a new approach to their musical style, it had to become a mixture of death, black, trash and doom metal. When Ramon Jacobs joined on drums the band started to jam and write their own material, the musical style turned out to be mainly old school death metal with black and trash metal influences.
Soon another former Damnations Way member Paco Dommeck joined in as bass player and the band prepared three songs for the first demo, which was recorded and mixed with the use of an analogue 4 track recorder from April to August of 2006.
In October 2006 John Kleuskens joined the band as second guitar player. Meanwhile the band continued to write new material and do some live gigs. In November 2007 a live rehearsal demo containing nine songs was released. In January 2008 six songs were recorded at Toneshed Recording Studio, which were released in November 2008 on the mini-CD entitled Plague Infected Battlefield. |
