DJ Spot has been DJing since 2002. Making it a lifetime love and influential aspect of his life. He spins Hip Hop and Techno. In 2005 sometime, listening to the percussive beats of DJ Melly Mel (A local Detroit DJ), Kevin Aviance, and others, Spot fell in love with the way the artists used very percussive and organized music. Bitz and Pieces is an example (perhaps a poor one) of the use of heavy percussion. DJ Tiesto also influeced Spot with the long harmonic trace styles, as heard/felt/enjoyed in "10,000 Steps to Harmony"

Currently, DJ Spot is working to create his own style, capturing the rythmic percussion and blending it with the long synths and melodic overstature.

Enjoy the tracks, as he has worked months using only one basic loop sequencer program (FruityLoops) off of a basement computer. No studio or high tech equipment.
