Colin Lenox - "Northbound" |
The wind blows the strongest across the plains the pararie's lying flat now. Shelter from the water and the rain, this train's headin northbound. Looking out for miles all around, another one just passed by. The feilds are flat and cover all the ground, reachin far into the sky. Ill stay here with you untill its time to go. I hate to leave you standing there but winters comin slow. Home is where the heart is but I've found, my heart is far away now. I thought I heard your voice but instead the sound, of thunder fallen though town. And now the air gets cooler and the night is moving in. And I can feel the wind blowin back in time again. Summer sets my mind forgets the visions of the sun. Your time here's not over you can always stay. Now that you're home you'll have to get away. |
