Acoustic Minds, Portland natives Jenni and Amanda Price have been singing their whole lives together and performing hard for the past 10 years. (250-300 shows a year!)
Leaving full time jobs to make time for their increasing schedule was a huge leap, but 3 years into full time music these identical twins are optimistic and excited for the direction their music is going.
With new players, an amazing live sound and nothing but love (hand hearts and all) these 5 musicians aren't letting anything stand in their way.
The new live 18 track CD released January 8th @ Alberta Rose Theatre.
Each track is hand picked from their amazing live shows all over the northwest lasta summer.
They met their $10, 000 fundraising goal with KICKSTARTER video campaigns and are headed to Europe in the spring of 2012! Touring thru 13 countries!! Headed down under to Australia this winter!
They have been backing up some of the NW Fresh Coasts finest including Marv Ellis & the Platform, Jah Sun, Keegan Smith & the Fam, Lafa Taylor and Lloyd Brown (UK).
Booked for many main stage performances this summer including The Rose Festival, The Safeway Waterfront Blues Festival, Oregon Country Fair, Tayberry Jam, Reggae on the River, Black Sheep Family Reunion, Rootstalk 2011, Earthdance!
They made it as a TOP 10 finalist in the Lilith Fair 2010 Portland OurStage Contest.
