Alexziq Bio:
I started creating experimental trax in 1989, after several years and short lived projects I took 10 year break from music. In 1994 a found myself frustrated at the increasingly divided clicks in electronic music and each ones judgemental additude toward one another, as well as the fans. It seemed stupid to me to be limited to one type of sound being that the very nature of electronica is experimental. Then in 2003 I began to attain new equipment and decsided to regain my sound without limitational titles such as Industrial, Techno, Hip Hop, Ambient, Or Darkwave. I created my first full length CD titled Bleeps, Blips, & Drips in 2005. Bleeps is an amalgam of differant types of electronica that Im extremely proud of. While Ive already run into criticism from differant scenes for not following the stereo types i continue to move forward undaunted having fun all the way!
Looking forward I will soon be returning to my studio to finish CD #2 , titled Electronic Amalgam and I hope to be able to move forward in the next year as an artist, or producer. As Hip Hop is becomming increasingly experimental, And interest in electronic music is increasing again Im hopeful that my knowledge and ear for sound will make 2006 a good year for this old school electro geek. |
