Bill Farkas Bio:

Bill Farkas with No Parachute is the latest project for this ambitious singer, songwriter, guitarist, keynote speaker, and successful entrepreneur from San Diego, California.

Born in the Rust Belt of Cleveland, Ohio, Farkas began his professional music career at age 14 after studying guitar with the legendary jazz guitarist, John Stebal, from the age of 5. He shared Northern Ohio stages with other young artists in the 60s: Joe Walsh (Eagles), Benjamin Orr (Cars), and Chrissie Hynde (Pretenders). He continued his music career while majoring in business and education at Hiram College.

Farkas emotional Morrision-esque delivery and "storyteller-style live shows is an attractive draw for most any venue.

In addition to touring with No Parachute, Bill finds time to support homeless teenagers through his ADR Foundation.

Farkas is active in ASCAP, Songsalive, LA Songnet, JPF, and hosts the longest running Performing Songwriter Showcase in San Diego at Claire de Lunes. This monthly event has hosted promising performing songwriters from across the USA, Canada, and Australia, as well as offering exposure and mentoring to many of Southern California's upcoming songwriters and artists.
