THe ReD eFFeCT is blend of hard catchy riffs and dark melodic melodies that give them their signature sound. Their influences include Chevelle, Three Days Grace, Smashing Pumpkins, Tool, Hum, and Failure. Dedication and motivation are two factors that make THe ReD eFFeCT what they are: Determined to play and make music for a living. And motivated they are. Their intense practice schedule allows them to produce solid songs that are filled with energy and emotion. Each band member contributes equally to the quality of a song and everyone does their part to promote and make every show a success.
Their intense live act has brought in large crowds to various venues throughout the Chicago land area such as The Elbo Room, Beat Kitchen, Lyon’s Den, The Note, US Beer Company, North Beach, Synergy, and 602 North.
