Coughlin Law Bio:
Coughlin's Law represents one facet of UDE's varied range of artists and musical styles. Although they have four members, the band revolves around the singing and songwriting talents of Brian Barclay. A well rounded artist, Brian has been playing and writing his own music for eleven years as well as collaborations with other artists on the label such as Hydro, Monopoly, D Souljah and Goldie Moore, in a variety of very different projects.
Joining him in this project is Fuzz on bass and Sag Mog providing the percussion while M.C duties are provided by Hydro. As a collective they are fairly recent addition to the Underdogg roster but each artist has been passionately involved in the music industry for several years. Each artist in Coughlin's law has very different musical influences and this can be heard throughout their music.
Their musical style is slightly different to anything which has previously been released by the UDE label, yet there are some tracks particularly 'Refuge' where Underdogg's influences can definitely be heard. This track is juxtaposed by the haunting loneliness of 'Forever' and the more indie rock sounds of 'Mind Lies' which again showcases this very multi talented outfit.
A twelve track lp containing these three tracks will soon be released to radio stations for promotional use and the first album will be released by March of 2006. They have completed filming their first video at Wembley stadium and more will follow.
