Apogee

Apogee Bio:

Formed in late 2001 Apogee started out playing covers and playing around with different styles of music, mainly for fun more than anything else!

Originally a four piece band we played as a three piece with no bassist for a while after our original bassist left the band. Soon enough however our rhythm guitarist/singer bacame our bassist/singer and we continued as a three piece.

We began gigging a good 2 years after first forming, simply because it took us this long to find our own style and feel that we were tight enough to start gigging. Now we've played lotsa local gigs in and around stoke as well as with touring bands from around the country.

We have also recorded our first proper demo; 'In Ordinary Discourse' aswell as a live CD featuring a live set of 8 songs recorded at a mini festival in 2004. We've just finished recording our second cd; Losd Heaven. Give the tracks a listen on the player, please comment on them to let us know what you think!

We have developed our own sound and hope to keep on gigging and recording, as well as building up as big a following as possible. Mainly we just wanna play live because we love doin it!!
