Speakeasy Bio:
Arising from the ashes of previous band Airborne (comprising 3 of the current band with a different singer), Speakeasy are a four-piece outfit from the Wirral. They combine explosive drumming, electric bass lines and powerful guitars with intelligent lyrics and bittersweet vocal hooks to produce perfect pop music. Citing influences as diverse as Sigur Rós, The Cure and The Magnetic Fields, the band draw on a wide range of contemporary music for inspiration. Currently plying their trade in the Merseyside region, they are sure to be playing at a venue near you in the not-too-distant future.
