Dirty Mother Nation
Dirty Mother Nation Bio:

In a music scene dominated by pre-pubescent twenty-somethings whining about high school in the punk scene and Type-A males hyped up on testosterone screaming their lungs out in the hardcore/metal scene, Dirty Mother Nation is like a breath of fresh music. Combining energetic rhythms with infectious melodies, the boys of DMN aim to impress with their musical talent, impressive stage show and good looks straight out of Brooklyn.

Dirty Mother Nation begins with the backbone rhythm section of Matt and Dan Douglas. Raised in a musical home, their inborn talent was enriched by close connections with Brooklyn rock veterans Type O Negative and Life of Agony. After procuring their skills for the better part of a decade, they decided to bring their vision to the music scene.

Paul Lucenti, recruited on guitar in August 2003, has talent and style to spare. The guitar work on Not This Way and Staring at the Satellites only begins to scratch the surface of this guitar hero in the making.

Lonny Freidland joined the band in September 03 and has contributed his deep and honest lyrics to all of DMNs songs as well as some of the musical groundwork on songs like Kneel and All Im Trying to Say.

The band has wide influences ranging from Black Sabbath all the way up to modern acts like Incubus and the Foo Fighters all the way back to Elvis Presley and Jimi Hendrix. They are an act to be seen, heard and experienced.
