Rizzen Bio:
Rizzen was supposed to be a punk/rock genre, formed by drummer Mike Dakins & guitarist Kevin Ducharme in early June of 2004. Having only 1 song recorded with only a guitar & drums, no bass or vocals, the band was not succesfull. Mike & Kevin both went there seperate ways looking for new talent. Mike joined a band with guitarist Brad Mollet & bassist Jovica Miladinovic, but later left to join another band(BloodshedTear). Kevin spent the next year playing solo & expanding his knowledge of guitar playing.
Trevor was a guitarist in a band called Deaths Shadow. He spent 1 year trying the form the band with guitarists Matt Mckay & Dylan Mckibbon,& 1 more year of heavy practice. Trevor Chiasson & Mike Dakins met on the school basketball team. Being fully aware of each others skill they thought of forming a band in the near future. Starting off using Trevors former band name(Deaths Shadow) they decided to pick up Kevin Ducharme as the lead guitarist. After recording 2 songs they decided that the name did not fit them so they changed it to Mike & Kevins old band name(RIZZEN). After Recording 3 songs the band finally came to an agreement that it was time to get a bass player. Mike contacted his old bass player Jovica and he was more then happy to join in. Changing the bands genre to Rock/Metal and having a 2nd guitar player, Rizzen hopes for success in the future. |
