Sinister Mob started a few years ago by the guitarist (Cruz) he had an idea, he had been playing for sometime now and his life had finally slowed to the point that he could find the time to play. He meets the drummer (will) through a friend; they hooked up and started playing. They went through a couple of bass players and a couple of singers, no one was clicking and the band was going nowhere. Eventually the drummer had some family problems and left for a while. Cruz hit the studio writing songs honing his skills as a musician. He tried other drummers even another guitarist, but still nothing sounded right to him, he wanted something more. He went back in to the studio and changed a few things. By this time a few years had past, still nothing. He called his old drummer up one day and asked if he was still playing? Will said (hell ya!), he had been playing in a death metal band for a little while, but it was just a studio project. Cruz asked if he wanted to hook up again, will said sure.
Cruz had a friend that had been playing bass (Jo) for a short time and was looking to jam. They hit the studio, and it was great. But Cruz still wanted more he wanted a singer that would take his music to the next level. Will had been jamming with this kid from Texas, who came down to seek his fortune. Will held the kid in high regards said, he could whale like a moFO, so Cruz told will to call him up. Will called the singer (James) up and asked if he was still looking for a band, he was. The band invited James to the studio to try out. Once again the band hit the studio, and the band called Sinister Mob was born.
