Dear Jack,

Never forgot about you throughout the years. Have so many fond menories going to a lot of your gigs. Your music is fantastic and I always believed in you. Hope we can connect again to catch up and reminisce about the good old days. God bless you always!

Jack McCoy is a character, but he has paid his dues. Pulling from his Mississippi roots and flavoring his musical passages with personal encounters and "love lost," Jack pulls on the memories of Johnny Cash revisited 30 years ago. He loses himself in the reverie that envelops him as he closes his eyes and bares his soul while reaching for a grip on the humanity around him. Jack could very easily have been one of many singing troubadours that traveled the dirt roads, guitar strapped to his back, entertaining the roadhouse denizens that clambered for a respite from life, from Georgia through the panhandle and back.
He deserves a good listen, whether in person or on CD. Do yourself a favor, find out where he is playing, you won't regret it.
