Julia's Window Bio:
Julia's Window was born in early 2005 by Leksa, Jaaku, Kimmo and Tuomo. The band describes their style as energetic alternative rock with a mixture of their different kind of musical backgrounds. Songwriting process is done as a group thus each member bringing their own touch in the music. The listener can hear influences from pop to grunge, from jazz to metal, and experience a unique atmosphere which is created with rocking riffs and beats, smooth bass patterns, computer-created backgrounds, and powerful, soulful vocal melodies. Not forgetting the more energetic and continuously visually evolving live-shows which will immediately convince the listerner what this band is all about.
THE PAST AND THE FUTURE
The band released their debut EP titled "Sleeper" on 7.5.2005, with 4 tracks that were freely available for download. The EP was printed on a CD with covers, but only for promotion purpose. Later the same year they released a digi-single called "Blacklight" to give listeners a more accurate idea what the band is really about and what to expect from the band's next official release.
Julia's Window feels they are now ready for a bigger audience and is anxiously waiting to perform as many gigs as possible, before disappearing in a bunker somewhere to record the next release.
