Step Left Bio:
Pat “Have mercy” Leacock. DJ, producer, remixer, writer and multi-instrumentalist. A MOBO winner in 1998 with the groove classic “Get Up”. Pat has worked with many of the industries greats in various guises.Co-producing and writing projects for Judge Jules, Rollo (from Faithless) and Life Force featuring Joey Negro and Jakarta (“Disco Fever”),jingles for "KISS FM" and written for UK film soundtracks ("Punk and the Princess", "Glastonbury-The Movie") as well as releasing his critically acclaimed album “Have Mercy on the Groove” and follow up CD with the Jazz Steppers, “The Next Step”.
He has also performed with Jocelyn Brown, Joey Negro, Lulu, Peter Andre, Hamish Stewart (Average White Band) and Down to the Bone.Step Left, (Pat’s alter ego) was created with an aim of developing material using a cross section of contemporary grooves including old and new school garage, trip hop and dripping chilled out gems.
