Mr Lizard Bio:
Cardiff based five piece. Together for 2 years writing/gigging locally. Claire - Vocals, Keyboards Chris - Guitar Ben - Acoustic and harmonica Greg - Drums/percussion Dan - Bass Formed in Cardiff late 2002 Mr Lizard are now a well established gigging act. The Lizard Vibe is one of a mellow but funky effort with a layer of rock guitar, which has created a unique sound. Strong songwriting has enabled the Lizard to write a varied selection of tunes from "Dreamy E-bow led songs to soothe all your worries" to a "Taut, brooding acoustic tale of lost love with very rock ending". Claires vocal blends effortlessly with the keyboard which is supported by a strong rythym section consisting of rich acoustic guitar whilst a 70s esc rock/funk guitar in the vein of Santana/Lizzy melts in and out of the mix. |
