WAKE Bio:

Wake is an original four-piece erotic rock™ band from Lincolnshire. Their music is schizophrenic, being insightful and melodic on one hand with a slightly badass attitude on the other. It is intelligent and layered with driving rhythms and thoughtful lyrics and it grabs you where it shouldn’t and squeezes.
With all four members sick and tired of listening to what they should be doing and taking their lives in their own hands,
Ben (vox/guitar), Dale (drums), Drew (bass) and Ross(guitar) started playing in a band around 5 years ago. Through various line-up alterations, name changes and different musical directions (some people might remember
the likes of Miberoda and Crafty Barnardo) Wake have been able to hone their song-writing and performance skills to the sharp point they are at today, producing an unforgettable live act. Wake has performed at such venues as the Metropolis Lounge in Peterborough and the Shed in Leicester as well as at a number of successful summer festivals supporting some signed acts along the way, No Hot Ashes and Doctor And The Medics for instance.
Influences for the band include artists such as Pearl Jam, Oceansize, Alice In Chains, Radiohead, Jeff Buckley and Queens Of The Stone Age.
Having all had a good musical education with regards to what music they listen to, each member of Wake brings their own unique sound
and influences to the band which provides the music with a richness that is difficult to emulate.
