Aethellis Bio:

The Official Aethellis Website is at http://www.aethellis.com

Aethellis entwines punchy, contemporary rhythms with funky guitar, silky synthesizers, passionate vocals, electronic effects and the forms and feel of classic progressive rock.

Aethellis was recorded in 2002/2003 and was influenced by the progressive rock keyboard heroes of the 70s and their bands. Keyboardist/guitarist/vocalist Ellsworth Hall assembled a phenomenal group of musicians to perform the album live: Mark Van Natta on guitar, Erik Marks on bass and Mike Harrington on drums.

Aethellis was listed from June '03 through March '04 in the Best Bands of the Week : "Indispensable work, highly recommendable..." - Progressive Rock and Progressive Metal E-Zine

The song "Hubris" from the album remained in the Broadjam.com Progressive Rock Top 10 chart for 6 months, debuting at #1 on March 23, 2003. It also appeared in the Rock (#7), Maryland (#1) and Mid-Atlantic (#5) Top 10 charts.
