Barking Jacqueline Bio: Barking Jacqueline MUSICAL PREHISTORY At two distant ends of the Gallus Gallus Domesticus hunting ground, three musical hominids were pondering in a melancholy manner, how the music scene was experiencing a glacial cycle of individualistic abacus musical creations and how anthropoids were simply no longer interested in carving music. Instead, they choose to be fossilized in large bands or, worse, stuck in bureaucratic caves, where they routinely earn their daily mammoth thigh. The flame, characteristic of the Mesolithic, when hunter-gatherers would come together in acoustical caves and create music for music itself and for pretty females, was nowhere to be felt. They reflected so deeply that the universe accelerated the pace of the evolution and ensured that a smoke signal was sent from Krško to Ljubljana. In October 2017, Roman Milek (Nismo bli mi, S.F.U, Bombastik, Marko Skače, Fortaste, Justin's Case) lit a fire and called to Mirsad Šabić by imitating the sounds of megafauna. Mirsad Šabić (played on strained animal skins in Mr. Satisfiction, Alterra, Quad Massacre, Lolita, 1x band, Ali-En, Ego Malfunction, Borghesia, Miladoyka Youneed, SyFy Band and others ...) was extremely surprised by the invitation, since he could not imagine that someone was willing to invent a wheel in order to travel the distance of 100km in one direction! Roman Milek arrived in Ljubljana, where he conducted a test ritual with Mirsad Šabić. It was immediately clear that this was a real woolly mammoth! They promptly started looking for a Homo guitarius. Consequently, many an Australopithecus trudged to Ljubljana, defying pre-weather and sabertoothed cats to be put to the test, each with his wonderful sharp-edged or rounded musical instrument. In the end it turned out the pantheon of the gods awarded the post to Luka Gramac (Red Fuel, Fortaste, JUŽ'NA). Luka’s stone bed is located – O, happy stone axe! – in the vicinity of Roman’s cave. From that day, the three Homines sapientes regularly rally in Ljubljana for practising. And thus the musical prehistory goes on... |
