Artist Mina Signs Production Deal
Mina has just signed a production deal with
Producer Jason Rubal. This is a follow-up to the 2003 demo of two songs
recorded by Mina. "Due to the overwhelming response from the demo, I
wanted to get her into the studio as soon as I could for a much larger
production", says Rubal, known for working with bands with an artistic
sense. He continues, "This time, the songs will be much more aggressive
and heavy, but still cross borders into genres that are acceptable to the
masses."
Session players will include Mark Bohn and Jarred Cannon, who were also
featured on the debut album from Nicki Jaine (Philadelphia PA), who has
sold many copies around the world, and has just finished the first leg of
her national tour. Drummer Mark Bohn is known for being in the band
Hierosonic (www.Hierosonic.com)that played on last year's Lollapalooza Tour
with Incubus, AudioSlave, and Jane's Addiction. The songs will be recorded
at Seventh Wave Studio (www.seventhwavestudio.com), a private Artist
Development facility in Harrisburg, PA.
Mina is getting rotation on 36 Internet radio stations around the world, as
well holding the top five slots in the U.K. and the U.S. on various music
websites.
