In the Absence Bio:
Approaching the end of 2003, Danny, Richard, Evan and "The new no Drew" Had started a band that was known as "In the Absence of Light". Due to personal issues and the destruction of one of the jam rooms at cactus, and having no fundage to pay for damages, The new no Drews name was inspired, having no Drew in the band anymore. Because of this, Danny then took over singing reigns and the "of Light" was dropped from the name. We, as the line up currently stands are: Danny - Guitar/Vocals, Alan - Guitar/Vocals, Evan - Bass/Vocals, Richard - Drums, and are now known as "In the Absence". The least number of years of experience in our band is 6, and we have all played numerous shows in various venues of Toronto. Together we have played for over a year, and Danny and Evan were previously in the most excellent band "Caspar with A K". Our demo is called "Conflicts Contribution to Creation" which we recorded with Petey Pauly. In this pursuit we fight for most excellent tunes, a good time for all, but most importantly, FOR GALLANTRY!
