Joey Mondeca began his career as a adolescent spitting hardcore rhymes about his surroundings and dreams. As part of the mixtape generation he is constantly releasing free mixtapes. Generating his place in hiphop and a world of downloads. Born in Bx/Ny Joey made his way into the Allentown Pa hiphop scene. His peers DocNice and BigWill encouraged him to start writing rhymes. He soon found music was the best way to express himself. Associating strong work ethic the 13yr.old convinced long time artist Richie Romance to take him on,if only for odd jobs around the studio. He started making songs with young local talent from his city likeocNice,RimeRotten,RevRoc and Peanut.He'd sit in the studio for hrs with the band The Morning Glory’s developing his sense of music. Being behind the scenes giving other artist his clever ideas and 6th sense of the music biz he moved to GreenvilleSc in 2008. Meeting Pat(ScarCrow)Downey from Tone Bound Studio. Together they made bangers like“Sexy girl”and“Fast Life.” Joey instantly started working on his solo project Get It How U Live. Almost done with his project he was informed that producer Kenny(Original)Cuevas also from Allentown Pa moved to the south. Kenny added Joey to his roster on T.O.S south a label branch Original started by B.I. Da Street Luva’s T.O.S Ent

The song was liked by label mates so much, they remixed and released it on T.O.S south’s self titled album in the summer of 2009. Months later Joey released his 1st solo album Get it How U Live in Jan.2011. Then 2012 Joey dropped his sophomore mixtape
“The Locker” showing the public Joey isn't going anywhere. Now with smash hits on Itunes n some radio success with "Get That" Ft Mr B
