The Rupert Selection Bio:
The Rupert Selection; We begin our journey in December, 2009. Three young chaps out of Manchester-by-The-Sea decided music was fine and dandy. Music, as it turned out, was something they enjoyed. These lads went by the names of Reilly Somach, Peter Crofton, and Zak Brown. As of February 2010, the band had written several 10 minute plus epics, as well as some avant-garde short rock tunes. With a new song virtually every week, and practices every day, The Rupert Selection had more than enough material to record a full length album. The album was entirely self recorded, produced and mixed by the band on and off throughout the rest of 2010 and into early 2011, while also managing to play nearly 30 shows around Boston, MA and the New England area during the process. The album was finally released in early May, 2011 and is entitled, "Conspiritorium" (available for download and streaming here: www.therupertselection1.bandcamp.com). With countless cover and original songs under their belts as well as years of live experience, their performances are highly energetic and experimental.
