Edge of Attack Bio:
Edge of Attack prides itself in bringing a musical style and unprecedented flair on the stage unlike any other metal band. Each member brings his own flavor to the band that makes Edge of Attack the relentless force that it has become as time has progressed. Doug Whipple, the founding father of the band, brings breakneck riffs and solos, as well as vocals reminiscent of the style prominent in European and 80s metal. Kayle Silvaniuk brings solid rhythm guitar, along with his own solos, harmonies, and unprecedented stage energy. Trevor Swain brings the thrash metal groove with classic beats, modern double-bass patterns, and the "not too much, not too little" mindframe. Dallas Dyck brings driving bass-lines, powerful backup vocals, and an in-your-face stage presence.
Together, they create the unique sound of Edge of Attack, combining the anthem-style rock of the 80s/90s with the complex instrumentation of overseas power metal, and the cutting-edge tones and aggression of modern American metal. Hot on the release of their full-length debut album, "Where Angels Die,' Edge of Attack is a metal monster to be wary of. |
