Paul Yhip Bio:
I am a songwriter. Main instrument is the keyboard. I also can play the guitar. Music genre I am into are pop: techno/electronica, rock, and latin rhythms (dance). One friend of mine is into country (pop) music and I see some appreciation of that now as I had collaborated with him in a couple songs.
I am learning the business aspect of music which seems to be a totally different animal compared to the artistic attitude of musicians and even songwriters. To be successful in the business aspect of it and still maintaining the creative attitude of an artist, it seems to me one almost have to be "bi-polar" , that is: to have two personalities (which are mental perspectives) and successfully being able to adjust to both.
Developing one without the other, you will only be at best 50% successful.. I seek the challenge. |
