VERTICAL COFFINS Bio:
Unveiled to the world in 2011, Vertical Coffins is Cincinnati's New posterchild for the Metal Music scene. Formed by guitarist Damien Byrne, the band blends early thrash influences with a modern edge. The result is a Horror-based metal sound unlike any other. "I wanted to share a new take on modern metal with the fans of the genre, while still paying tribute to my influences of early thrash metal" Says Vertical Coffins' 21-year old guitarist, Damien Byrne. "I wanted to include a horror influence for fans of the films, while keeping the music melodic and heavy... We tend to do everything heavy."
