Generational Breakthrough Bio:

G.B. bio posted: 08 Mar 2011 10:50 PM
G.B. (Generational Breakthrough) was founded in a small city called Lehigh Acres, Florida by tow best friends (iN$aNe & Yung-E). They both always loved music and listened to it 24/7. In March of 2007 iN$aNe discovered his skills of writing when he wrote his first poem. His friends told him how good it was and he should write more and he continued to write poems. His teacher read some of them out loud to the class and encouraged him to go online and enter them into contest so he could get some kind of reward out of it. He entered his first poetry contest and won and received an IPod Shuffle! He met a kid named Edens (Yung-E). They became friends and were working on a Biology project where they had to teach a chapter to the class, So they decided to make a rap. When the time came for them to go they performed the rap in front of the class and everybody loved it! So over the summer they brought up the project, they made a few jokes about making their own music and laughed. They talked to some of their friends about it and they thought it was a pretty good idea. On 7/12/2008 they started up a music MySpace and "Quantam Ent." was born. They decided that they would not rap about what most artists rap about but instead chose to rap about real problems and real situations in the world. The First two songs they released were “Why” and “Unknown”. Both songs were very well recieved by the public and they wanted to hear more. A few weeks Rhey put out another song"Baby Girl". The song had moderate success in the beginning but it grew amongst people and they began to like it. After some time they met another young talent "Champ". When Champ joined the label he informed them of another music label titled "Quanta Ent." so the label decided to change the name to "Heavyweight Ent." personally iN$aNe did not like the name but could not think of anything else so he decided to go with that. He asked Champ to be feat. on his next single. They released "Real Love". After a few months the two founders of Heavyweight (iN$aNe & Yung-E) decided to shut down Heavyweight and had thoughts of quitting music all together because if it was going to start drama it wasn't worth it. After a few weeks they decided not to quit and opened up a new label called "Breakthrough Ent”. Champ decided that this group was no longer for him so he chose to leave the group. While under the name Breakthrough ent. They released several successful songs including: “Go Back” “Addicted to You” “Can’t Choose” “Hard to Let Go” and “Path I Choose”. “Can’t Choose” was the most well received song of this era with people saying it is one of the realest songs they have ever heard. After some time the two friends decided to change their name one last time which ended up being Generational Breakthrough A.K.A. G.B! Two new members joined the goup: Tinee and Will-Boogy. Shortly after the name change iN$aNe released his smash hit song “L.O.V.E.” and everyone loved it. He performed it live for the first time In front of his classmates and everyone loved it. Yung-E released his Hit Single “Call Me Up” and everyone loved it. These two songs would be the first of many hit songs to come. Their next hit was a more slow love song called “ Baby Girl” all the ladies loved this song. When their other best friend Sammie-Baddie joined the group problems began to arise between the group which left the group divided. They tried to work things out for the better of the group but in the end Tinee and Will-Boogy decided to part ways with the group. So G.B. continued on and soon added Indilacia to the group. They also teamed up with iN$aNe’s brothers group Datt Sqaud (DS). G.B’s Next hit song was called “Candyland”. After this song they both really started to realize the talent that they had and how good their music really was. They recorded Several other songs that they decided not to release. In the mean while Another young talent joined the group “Kidd Swift. He released one freestyle under G.B. using the “Dueces” beat. He was only in the group for a short two weeks before deciding to go his own way. Shortly after Indilacia also decided to leave the group to work with someone else. G.B. still continued on but slowly began to fall off the radar. Down the road A female rapper “Canada” joined the group. She released her first freestyle which was straight fire. Yung-E release a Wiz Khalifa Remix to “This Plane” which was another hit! Canada released her first official song “Dopeman”. A few month after Canada joined another Talent (Yung Snoop) joined the group. She was the final Puzzle piece to complete G.B. and they finally found the perfect recipe for the group. They released A Romans Revenge Remix (GB We The Effin Baddest) and everyone loved the song. The fans asked for more. About a month later They released their first club banger “All The Way Feat. Sean Lamar” And this song was an instant hit. It went straight to #1 on the charts of unsignedbandweb.com. They also simultaneously released a remix to 6’7’. Their most recent song to date is Black and Purple (Black and Yellow Remix) which is also G.B.s anthem! GB is currently in the studio preparing for the release of their debut album on 03/26/11.
