Cain & Abel Bio:
Cain & Abel, a six piece from southeast Wisconsin, is one of the many uprising bands of the Midwest. Formed in the summer of 2008, the four piece of Jared Block, Jake Noggle, Ike Weins, and Josh Fox struggled to even maintain a regular practice schedule. With the addition of Jeff Jelenchick and Tyler Trokan later that fall, the band lifted off with remarkable speed. After a few months of playing together, Cain & Abel realized that this is more than just a dream, it is a reality that they are destined to reach. Their music follows that of the hardcore/metal scene, but it is different in that they strive to play what no one else has heard before. Layered screaming vocals accompany crushing, technical breakdowns while more melodic, singing vocals draw a lighter side to the picture. Groovy bass riffs bring a change to the standstill metal audience and encourages a fun, party atmosphere. After playing together for just over a year, Cain & Abel released their EP titled "Pterofied", which is available on Itunes. Huge plans await this summer as the band travels south to play this year's Cornerstone festival, as well as attempting to play the Milwaukee stop at this years Warped Tour. Get ready for new music, merch, and magazine pages because these boys aren't looking back. An extremely bright future awaits these hopeful high school students from Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin. |
