Had young boy dreams.
The kind you have when your 17.
I'd be wild and free.
Maybe pitch in the major leagues.

But that's not how things worked out.
I married Jenny and we settled down.
Had some kids and we bought a house.
I took a job in this company town

But I sometimes wonder how things might have been?
What would I do if I could live my life again?
But when I'm giving comfort cause my daughter skinned her knee.
That's when my life is so clear to me.

Takin kids to baseball. Packin up the SUV

It's funny how things worked out.
