R-Dot Sanders Bio:
Ricky, R-DOT SANDERS, began writing and rapping at the tender age of twelve. Influenced by the early pioneers of hip-hop, his family, and his struggle, he started rapping to be different. Inspired by life, people around him, and the things he observed, he began to perfect his passion. At the age of thirteen he entered and won his first talent show; and every show after that. After being banned from participating he decided it was time to move on to the next level. Soon he began producing his own tracks. A number of notebooks containing over 300 songs, soon became the product of his hard work and dedication.
His ability to touch issues that others avoid, places him in a category of his own. In an industry where many lack originality, versatility, and consistency; RDOT offered a fresh sound with concepts that people could relate to. While the radio is overwhelmed with repetitive hooks and beats, he recalls those who possessed the true meaning and love for hip-hop. Tupac, Biggie, and Big Pun which argues the question….is hip-hop dead? When listening to new artists it’s hard to find an album with a perfect presence like those who truly lived and breathed the art form. While much respect goes out to Jay-Z for his knowledge of the game, having everything under control, and taking it to the next level. Others failed to meet those standards.
R-DOT SANDERS who’s name represents not only himself but the DOT for the love of his deceased aunt; is exactly what the game is missing. With true talent and the desire to join those who’s keeping hip-hop alive. He is ready to take the mic and give us the change we’ve all been waiting for! |
