Dayton Bio:
First of all, for those who don't know me, I go by the name Dayton, 27. Born William Jackson December 22, 1982. I’m a producer, rapper, songwriter, and engineer from Pittsburgh, Pa. At an early age I decided I wanted to be an entertainer when I was 11. By the age 14, I started creating beats and teaching myself how to record tracks. I grew up listening to some of my favorite artist and producers such as, Jay-Z, Biggie, 2 Pac, Dr. Dre, and Jermaine Dupri. It was my older brother who inspired me, and gave me the idea that music would be a great choice in careers for me because of my passion for music and ability to learn the different fields quickly without problems. I figured that it would be a great idea since it was something I loved doing. Plus it would help me reach the point that I wanted to be financial wise. I grew up in the hood and never really had much. My mother was the only parent me and my brothers had to depend on. Knowing that, I recorded and produced my first CD at the age 16 which I was eager to get out and see what the streets had to say about it. I received so much positive feedback and support for this to be my first underground album Streets Competition Vol. 1. From that point on, my talent became so professional, my fans grew, and my goal to succeed became stronger. Everyone that wanted to be in the music business that I knew, wanted to collaborate with me in some sort of way. If it was by me writing lyrics for them, featuring on a track with them, or even producing the track, they wanted me on it. Now the streets love me for my music, and try to stand by me, and show their support. I've released several mixtapes and underground albums since then. I've preformed at my own events and opened up for several major artists which turned out great due to my energy with the crowd. I’ve opened up for Lil Wayne, Ray cash, and performed with Dem franchise boys just to name a few. My goal is to be the best I can be at letting the world hear my talent and take it to a whole new level. I worked with numerous artists and produced tracks on a day to day basis. I won’t stop until I reach the #1 spot. Until then, stay tuned because I be in the lab everyday creating new material for the streets and my fans. Thanks for your support.
