Whitedog has been writing and performing for 15 years. A natural performer and songwriter.
Whitedog is the mayan calendar and stage name for Wayne Robert Davies. It is his solo writing and performing name. Solo projects to date include two dance/ world/ progressive e.p.’s; and one acoustic single entitled ‘I’ll see again. ‘ which is his best recorded work to date.

Whitedog has previously written and performed with; 1998-99 Dance to Tipperary, an irish dance production covering traditional irish numbers. The band reached no. 9 in the irish chart in 1999 and the band supported ‘Van Morrison’ at the Irish expo, Earls Court, the same year.

’Monkeynuts,’ 2000-05, a ska driven act writing in a style not too dissimilar to 2tone and ‘Madness.’ The band gigged heavily for 5 years in London pubs and clubs taking in the Union Chapel, ULU, the telegraph, Nambucca, Victoria Park and several squats along the way.

’Wrigglers Beard’ 2006-2007, writing and performing in a folk 4 piece, comprsing of Catrin O’Neill, Gem Quinn, Dora McKingley and Robin redfeather (English ordained tribal elder!)

’Dr. Ripsleeve’ Formed 2007. A heavy three piece performing electric high octane rock mixed with songwriting subtleties and inventive structure.
