A Borrowed Life Bio:
A Borrowed Life began when the band known as Wurkt parted ways with Warner Bros/143 Records. Eager to start a new project with a new sound, the members relocated to Sacramento, CA. The project was then envisioned and refined including some line up changes. Early 2005, the final lineup was complete: Josh Robinson (vox), Geoff Eckert (drums), Manny Howard (bass), and Anthony L. Pellerin (guitars and backing vox)
For the members, the quartet gelled like no project they had been in before. Ecstatic with the new material they were writing they began playing local shows. Buzz of their music spread like wildfire with fans as well as promoters. In a short while, there was evidence of the need for new recorded music with thousands of plays and downloads on their three song self produced demo online. The band stopped playing shows and began to record a full-length record w/ Joe Johnston @ Pus Cavern Studios in Sacramento, CA (Wurkt, Cake, Team Sleep, Papa Roach, Black Eyed Peas). This record was to set the start of a new leg of the journey for A Borrowed Life. With plans for touring, widespread self promotion, and an intense live show; the new CD My Love, The Enemy is only the beginning.
With Geoffs intricate but super powerful drumming, Manny's undeniable groove and finesse, Anthonys intense ethereal dreamscapes, and Josh Robinsons soul piercing vocals, A Borrowed Life creates an amazing cornucopia of sonic bliss and mayhem that is delivered on record as well as with an intense live show. A Borrowed Life is a band with a serious steady plan and a solid product. Their hard work, ethic, and dedication will in no time establish themselves as an act to be recognized.
