John Tahan Bio:
John lived in Canada all his life coming to Montreal the greatest city in Canada from Egypt with his family when he was a baby. He started to play guitar when he was about 15 years old. He got more serious about his guitar playing when he was about 20. His greatest guitarist influence was by the late Randy Rhoads amazing and unique lead guitar player of Ozzy Osbourne. Joining his two brothers, Frank And Peter, the Tahan brothers formed a fisrt group called "The Teasers" which also included our fabulous base player little cousing Gilbert Rostand, in the early 80s playing pop cover material, Elvis and The Beatles music along with some original songs. In the mid 80's they emerged with a more hard and heavy rock sound forming the group called "TZAR". John was the ever so versatile and hot guitar player writing all the lead material on the album, John was also doing vocals, Guy Morin was named the (animal) because of his hard hitting style on the drums. The group TZAR thanks to also his ex manager Marc Sigouin toured extensively in Canada and the U.S. playing in concert halls and famous metal clubs. They came out with their debut album called " Players Of The Game" in the mid 80's that still selling on the internet today on sites like Ebay and CD Baby also available on my site. they also have a website called Tzarrockmetal.com. In the early 90's the Tahan brothers decided to call it quits. John went his seperate ways. |
