Sprung Bio:
From out of the depths of what most mid western musicians seem to have self-proclaimed to be hell on earth comes a ray of light. With an aggressive yet positive air about them, and the musicianship to support whatever thought provoking ideas their lyrics might generate, ‘Sprung’ uses a well-rounded balance of elements to deliver music that you 'want to listen to'.
Members began to find one another in April of 2000 and came full circle about a year later. Their backgrounds range from fresh talent on the scene to former member(s) of national acts.
Striving to create something more than negativity and a hatred for the world around them, they chose to side-step the beaten path and open minds to overcoming and taking control of a bad situation rather than hostility and casting blame. The band doesn't stake claim to filling any mysterious (or non-existent) 'music industry voids', but they definitely refresh with their assembly of talent, energy and conviction to their music.
Add one power-driven performance and an undeniable presence to compliment their magnetic songs and 'Sprung' is a band destined to play a role in the future of music.
