Distorted Dreams Bio:

Formed in South Wales during 2004, Distorted Dreams is a 5 piece metal band that has developed a recognizable mature sound from over 5 years of performing, writing and perseverance.

In early 2008, they reformed with a fresh lineup and creativity. They had always been about rising above genre limits and they returned set on playing music they wanted to hear. Taking inspiration from a wide variety of sources, the new Distorted Dreams are sure to draw you in with their blend of accessible, melody driven, crushing metal.

In late 2008, they released their first CD under the current lineup, titled “The Trigger”. It is now available via gigs, their official website and most major online music providers such as Amazon, Napster, iTunes.

To date, they have played with many of the UK's upcoming and established acts. Bands such as Forever Never, Cinders Fall, Outcry Fire, Fei Comodo, Blackout, Traitor Born, Nochaa, Smokescreen and I Def I.

Now in 2009, Distorted Dreams seem to be pushing the right buttons and are being approached for bigger and better shows. They are currently premièring exciting new material and are readying for a follow up CD release.

The future looks both promising and exciting for the band. “The Trigger”, the lead track off their latest CD, has been chosen to be the first track to be on the new Microblast compilation CD which will be available in various HMV stores and which will heard by many industry professionals and music labels.
