GINA.... Gina – Affectionately known by the rest of the band as “Flo” has been with Addiction Lane since 1999.Influences range from Marilyn Manson, Placebo, Muse, and Linkin Park to Skunk Anansie, Alanis Morissette, The Smiths, Depeche Mode right through to Frank Sinatra, Rosemary Clooney, and Thomas Newman – no wonder she changes her style each time through most of the songs. Though we also have Rick to blame for that, who managed to persuade the nervous singer that joined the band in 1999 to “sing it with a bit of attitude”. Now she not only sings it with the attitude, she gives rick plenty of it too!!! LOL! She does however provide enough food to feed the five thousand whenever we go to studio to keep everyone going, so we’ll keep her for a bit longer!! DEAN... Dean is BIG (Height, head, heart, hands, bound and ego) he also writes a bit, plays 5 string bass because hes got a big head, and his amp’s got a cool aluminium speaker. He burps a lot but not as much as Gina. ANDY... Andy Mellor is the powerhouse behind our unique sound. He has been banging stuff with sticks for about 25 years. He plays a Premier APK kit with Remo skins, Paiste cymbals and a Gibralta rack, with Premier hardware. He's 31 and loves all things American (hence why he's called 'Tex'). Mustang's, pick-up's and chopper's are his vehicles of choice. He has a penchant for for power tools ('more power, more power!!!'). The fascination with technology doesn't finish there. He’s an avid Trekkie and sci-fi fan. His musical influences include RHCP, Iron Maiden, Def Leppard and Pearl Jam, but generally any Rock band's from the late 70's to the early 90's are an inspiration. DAVE.... Crash landing on this planet in April 1967, Dave searched high and low for the parts to repair the drive on his spacecraft, but even the big Halfords in Cheetham Hill doesn't sell temporal capacitance coils so he decided that he might as well stay and make a go of it. He took human form and, after spending several years learning how to control his new body, started to use it to do things that are not known on his home planet. He has become quite adept at landscape photography, has fallen in love, buggers about with pure mathematics and foreign languages on occasion, likes to watch ice hockey and has ... err ... oh yeah ... learned to play guitar! RICK.... Drives a land rover (British) Uses Marshall amp (British) Rides triumph (British) Plays a Gordon Smith (British) British by birth English by the grace of god! Nuff sed !!!!
