Iam an amateur musician who loves digital music composition. It is my main hobby. I usually work alone. My hardware is a fast computer , 2 midi keyboards (EMU - CASIO) , a pair of monitors (KRK) , a Behringer mixer and a good microphone for vocals. My main audiocard is the Waveterminal 192 L. I use free or cheap software and sometimes demos of commercial one. Iam a collector of free vst instruments and plugins. You know there are a lot of them out there , but some of them are better than commercial one (indepedence free - EMU Proteus VX - nebula cm - etc) Mainly I use the presents of Computer Music magazine (sequencer - samplers - vst instruments and plugins).
If there are vocals, my daughter sings, she is an amateur like me.
I have read a lot about digital music composing and I try to achieve nice sound but I can't afford proffesional equipment to achieve even better quality. So, hope you like my projects. |
