Beneath the Burning Sun Bio:

Beneath the Burning Sun is a five piece Rock/Metal band which was formed in Hutchinson, Kansas in early 2008 with their current line up. Their sound can be described as a very metal oriented music styling yet keeping melodic vocals at the forefront. Heavy riffing from the guitars and technical drum beats drive their music all while keeping the choruses big and catchy. Many of their influences are from the likes of Killswitch Engage, Sevendust and Alter Bridge just to name a few.

Within the first two weeks of acquiring their current vocalist, they were ready to play their first show, which says a lot about their work ethic as a group. Then just three months later, they were the winners of the Hutch Fest Battle of the Bands. They then looked to bigger things for the local scene as a whole and created Wake the Dead Rock and Metal Festival. This festival brought in 12 local and regional bands to showcase them and allow them to have a venue to play because there are not many to play at. Wake the Dead II got bigger and better with the help of professional sound and lights and headliner Seasons After. The band plans on continuing this tradition as the event grows ever larger.

The future for Beneath the Burning Sun looks forward to big things in 2010. This winter they are looking to start recording their first full length album which should be released in late spring or summer at the latest. With their high energy live show, they are ready to begin a new chapter of their careers and make their mark on the music world. They have been quoted to saying “ 5 or 50,000 people out there, we will give our audience their moneys worth every time and do what we do to the best of our abilities.”
