Just Six Spaces - "The Same Beginning" |
Same Begining Why walk away when you can see me, And why stand alone without your breath. And why smile at something that isn't standing there. And lose what you'd been staring at. This soul you hold in your hands. Is more fragile than it's ever been. So please be gentle with it. It's all I have left. And this feeling I have, Has left me standing there. Cuz I'm, Watching you walk away again. And time's, been wasted on you, Trying to work it out, It's all the same as it was, The same beginning over again. I stand behind the glass, And think about what was just said. Is this the end. I'm not sure if I should be scared or, Just go and lose myself once again. And only time can tell, Who we'll be, years from now. Can I search the sky and find the silver lining to this cloud. Or should I be searching for, A way to get out. Time has been wasted, You made me complacent, We're thinking of breaking apart, And we're sinking, I'm trying to breathe, And I just wasn't thinking, The same beginning over again. |
