Skavinjer Bio:Skavinjer started when boredom caused them to either commit suicide or start something that they can live for,... Jayare and Seven met as they were both at a turning point in their lives. They wanted to change something in their lives,... to make it worth living. Jayare having a musical background had played guitar for most of his life, starting when he was a young lad. Seven not knowing a damn thing wanted to play some sort of instrument, so he tried different things from Bass to Guitar, and even Vocals,... but found his true talent in Drums,.. he borrowed a drum set from a neighbor kind enough to let him use the toms and bass drum, and snare of course. But no cymbals, Jayare's parents let them use what they needed to jam and get things situated for the time being. Later on Seven met Toadman at school, they were young creatures with the world in their eyes, they both had musical similarities,.. looking to alternative, thrash metal. Jayare already influenced by bands like Death, Slayer, Gwar, Pink Floyd and Marilyn Manson. Always wanted to start a band and shred the guitar. Jayare and Seven jammed for about a year when Toadman was asked to play bass. When they all met and collaborated it was magic. They all had their talent,... it took 2 years until Jay, Toadman's Lil bro, to join the Army of Darkness. They felt that Jay could help Toady go from Bass to guitar,... and of course as in the Martinez blood, another Musician was born,.. Jay. So now Seven, Jayare, Toady, and Jay all look at the world through metal eyes,.. and want to conquer their dreams. They still jam today,.. as i hear every weekend and they are getting better and better,... they have released 3 CD's so far 2 Albums,... and 2 live tracks. The first Album The self titled Skavinjer was a great album,,... but was only a beginner album,.. the second CD Army of Darkness is a BIG step up from the first,.. you can find the album now sold on CDbaby.com. The live CD was only a limited edition and is no longer sold,.. their third album, anxiously waiting, Valley of the Dead is soon to be recorded and released. So keep out an ear,... the Skavinjer awaits for you in the Darkness..................
