NoJunkNoSoul Bio:
NoJunkNoSoul formed in The City of Lincoln in November 2005. Their unusual setup of Piano, Electric Bass and Drums provided them with a fresh sound, setting them apart from the masses of generic guitar bands surrounding them. The band set about swiftly writing material, quickly finding their penchant for composing catchy, interesting tunes complimented by excellent musicianship and witty lyrics. March 2007 saw NoJunkNoSoul relocate to London, where they have since gained much industry interest, playing ever larger shows to their rapidly expanding fan base.
The band recently completed a five track EP, 'Rebels', at Parlour studios in Kettering, Northampton. Having struggled to capture their powerful live sound on previous recordings, NoJunkNoSoul have produced an exciting work that reflects their skill and sensitivity as musicians, with songs that flick between complex instrumental passages and infectious pop melodies.
NoJunkNoSoul have been working hard at the beginning of 2008. Currently based in London, they are producing exciting new material and captivating live audiences with their tight, energetic performances. With a host of high profile bookings lined up and much industry interest in their eclectic sound, NoJunkNoSoul are confident this will be their year.
