The Jade Assembly Bio:
The Jade Assembly began in 2004. Long time friends Andrew Watson (drummer) and John Foster (guitar, vocals) decided it was time for a new generation of music lover's aspirations to be fulfilled. After an intensive search for a bassist who had the talent and the passion, Dennis Ryan was appointed and thus began the forging of the Jade Sound. After years of dedicated practising, The Jade Assembly have honed in on their own enigmatic style and are ready to be let loose to entertain the world. The band's great knowledge of music and dedication make them one of the greatest unsigned talents in the industry. Confident front man, Foz (24) from Bolton, has been playing the guitar since he could pick one up, and his talent on the instrument is only surpassed by his potent vocal skills. Foz has spent his life listening to, and playing music, and this shows in his commanding performances. A life long Bolton Wanderers fan and human rights campaigner, Foz casts a substantial shadow over most front men on the scene today. The prevailing percussion powerhouse, Andrew Watson (21), also grew up in Bolton, and has made music his sole purpose in life. Andrew studied music at school and at college, so his knowledge of music is unsurpassed. He is also a long time Bolton Wanderers fan and enjoys nothing more than preaching to the masses. The powerful rhytym section of the band was re-enforced in Januray '08 with the arrival of tasteful new bass player, James "Well Hung" Halliwell. James is not your stereotypical bassist, and his unlikely influences shine through in his compositions. James is a keen music lover with a wide range of musical talent, and is always happiest playing with The Jade, or downing a few pints at the local. Say hello to The Jade Assembly. |
