We as a band are trying to hit the avant-garde and abstract rock scene, bringing together a fusion of electrifing vocals, choppy guitars, hard bass lines, and jerky jazz drumming. The Resonance formed in late Autumn 2003 – founding members Matt, David and Jordan decided to try and reinvent the current music trend, by forming a style called ‘groove rock’ which took influences from 70’s psychedelia and funk, as well as hard bop jazz and ska. |
